A large manufacturing company is seeking a Cost Accountant to join their dynamic finance team. This is a great opportunity to play a key role in analyzing and improving product costing and operational efficiency in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. Job Details:
Cost Accountant Location: Phillipsburg, NJ Salary: $75,000 - $100,000 Key Responsibilities:
Perform detailed product costing and maintain Bills of Materials (BOM) and router controls Manage and monitor inventory accounting and cost of goods sold Conduct profitability and variance analysis to support business decisions Collaborate closely with operations, supply chain, and planning teams to align financial reporting with production activities Identify opportunities for cost improvements and operational efficiencies Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience, preferably in manufacturing Strong understanding of cost accounting principles, inventory management, and financial analysis Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills Working Situation:
