Senior Staff Accountant role at
OMNICOMMANDER , based in Nashville, Tennessee. This is an on-site, in-office position in our Nashville office. Resumes must be submitted in English. No third party recruiters. Responsibilities
Manage and mentor a junior accountant for Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable Reconcile accounting data between multiple spreadsheet sources, Monday.com, QuickBooks, and client contracts with a sense of urgency Review company contracts and populate spreadsheets with summary qualitative and quantitative data (pricing, services, contract terms, relevant dates, billing information) Handle complex financial tasks, such as preparing financial statements and managing audits Manage month-end and year-end close processes Support the Accounting team with accounting and finance projects as determined by company management Maintain regular and predictable attendance and work collaboratively with others Maintain vendor records and expense billing, and month-end close activities, including account reconciliations Ensure all reporting is submitted according to company accounting schedules Adhere to controls and processes and assist in documentation, implementation, and monitoring of internal control procedures and policies Verify client data and billing accuracy and ensure staff accountability daily Calculate commissions on a strict schedule with high attention to detail Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; 7+ years of experience in General Accounting Advanced experience with Microsoft Office (Excel) and Google Suite (Sheets) Proven and advanced experience in QuickBooks Online Proficient in project management software (e.g., Monday.com, JIRA, Microsoft Project) Requirements
Regular and consistent attendance Ability to work collaboratively with others Advanced critical thinking, analytical, and communication skills Advanced technical skills with accounting software including QuickBooks Desktop and Online, ERP software; proficiency in financial analysis Knowledge of GAAP compliance and regulatory standards with high attention to detail Proactive problem-solving abilities and a sense of urgency Uphold the highest standards of integrity, ethics, and teamwork Benefits
