Opportunity Summary: Upland Software is looking for a Financial Analyst to support P&Ls for products under Upland's portfolio of enterprise cloud solutions. The position will be the primary analyst supporting budgeting, forecasting and analysis for the full P&L including revenue, cost of goods sold, and OPEX for product lines supported along with supporting departments in Upland's Shared Services organization. The person will be the primary interface with the accounting team of the company and the company management team for products and budget centers supported. Primary Responsibilities: Assist with compilation and analysis of consolidated budgets, forecasts and long range plans. Develop financial models and analysis Participate in the continued development of Budgeting, Financial Forecasting, Operating Plan and Modeling tools Ensure variable cost structure is in constant harmony with variable revenue, to avoid any and all P&L surprises Analysis: Analyze current and past trends in key performance indicators including all areas of revenue, cost of sales, and expenses Improve performance by evaluating processes to drive efficiencies Ad-Hoc Reporting and Analysis: Prepare financial and business-related analysis and research in such areas as financial and expense performance, rate of return, depreciation, working capital, and investments Routinely communicate business unit and company consolidated financial and operational performance trends, historical and forecasted, using appropriate metrics. Suggest trends, resulting implications, key actions, and strategic implications Requirements

Candidate should have a BS degree in Finance, Accounting, or equivalent with 2-7 years' experience in a financial role, preferably in a SaaS software focused corporation Strong analytic and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently and as a team member with excellent interpersonal skills Experience with Adaptive Planning/Adaptive Insights desired but not required Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills Excellent written and oral communication skills Highest standards of accuracy and precision; highly organized Ability to think creatively, highly-driven and self-motivated Strong sense of pride and ownership and a demonstrated willingness to go the extra mile Upland Software is an Equal Employment Opportunity Employer.
