Summary of Position: The Senior Accountant is responsible for performing financial tasks to manage a business efficiently. Ensuring the integrity of accounting information by recording, verifying, monitoring accounts, reconciling bank statements, calculating tax payments, consolidating transactions, and overseeing general accounting operations. To ensure business records are accurate and in compliance with applicable laws, taxation laws, and regulations. To be successful in this role, you will provide us with accurate quantitative information on financial position and have previous experience with strong and basic accounting work experience, and a flair for spotting numerical mistakes. This position is an on-site full-time position, not remote work. Responsibilities

Produce accounting reports and present their results. Process Paycor to ensure accuracy, including wages, bonuses, expenses, deductions, and benefit contributions Analyze financial information and summarize financial status, including income statements, cash flow statements, and perform monthly reconciliations to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data Spot errors and suggest ways to improve efficiency and spending. Review and recommend modifications to accounting systems and procedures. Performance metrics to assist Management with financial decisions and cash management Maintain organized, accurate, and complete accounting records, electronically and in hard copies, as necessary Provide input into the department’s goal-setting process. Assist CPA firms with tax audits and tax returns, as necessary Direct month-end and year-end close process. Have the ability to participate in the budgeting process by providing financial data and analysis Have the ability to perform various audits, such as fiscal year-end auditing Responsible for preparing routine journal entries and posting financial transactions. Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls. Ensure compliance with US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) principles and IFRS standards. Process credit application reference check. Provide an external CPA firm with all documents needed for the annual tax return. Perform other accounting-related duties as assigned Collaborate with internal departments to ensure proper procedures and update the procedures when appropriate Develop proficiency in A/R and A/P processes/procedures to be able to provide backup for these areas when needed. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Reconciling account balances and bank statements, maintaining the general ledger, and preparing month-end close procedures. Utilizing analytical skills with a thorough knowledge of accounting principles to analyze financial reports and forecasts. Overseeing accounts payable and accounts receivable to ensure accuracy and effectiveness in all accounting tasks. Working with an external CPA firm on annual Federal and state tax returns. Minimum Qualifications

Thorough knowledge of basic accounting procedures. In-depth understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP). Awareness of business trends. Familiarity with financial accounting statements and laws Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year-end process close. Hands-on experience with accounting software packages, SAP, and QuickBooks. Excellent communication skills. Accuracy and attention to detail. Aptitude for numbers and quantitative skills. Master’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a relevant field. Preferred Qualifications

3 years proven experience as a financial controller, accounting supervisor, chief, or senior accountant. A bachelor’s or Master’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field is required Advanced MS Office suites, like Excel, Outlook, and Word. Familiar with SAP, QuickBooks, and general ledger accounting. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. Have an authorization to work in America. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. CPA is not required, but preferred. EEO Statement
