We are in search of a dynamic, detail-oriented, and strategic Accounting Manager to join our team. This role is critical to the financial health and growth of our company. As the Accounting Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing our accounting department's daily operations, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and conformity with the latest accounting principles. You will also play a significant role in the company's financial strategy, including forecasting, budgeting, and strategic planning. $85,000.00/yr - $100,000.00/yr Responsibilities
Oversee and manage the general accounting functions, including, but not limited to accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and taxes. Collaborate with the finance team to prepare and present financial reports, including monthly and annual reports. Lead and manage budgeting and forecasting, perform variance analysis, and provide financial consulting and strategic support to senior management. Ensure compliance with all internal processes, financial guidelines, and regulations. Develop and implement financial policies and procedures, and ensure these are followed across the organization. Collaborate with auditing services to ensure proper compliance with all regulations. Develop strategies to improve financial performance, and prepare detailed reports, both current and forecasting. Maintain relationships with external auditors and manage internal controls. Provide leadership and support to the accounting team, managing workloads and deadlines, providing feedback, and resolving conflicts. Qualifications
Bachelor\'s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. A Master\'s degree or Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification is preferred. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior-level finance or accounting position, with a proven track record in strategic planning, forecasting, budgeting, and financial reporting. Knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting, and cost control principles, including Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP). Strong knowledge of financial and accounting software applications. Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics GP is a plus. Able to analyze financial data and prepare financial reports, statements, and projections. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively communicate complex financial information in a clear and concise manner. Strong leadership skills with a dedication to driving and achieving results. High attention to detail and accuracy, ability to multitask, and meet deadlines. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make well-judged decisions. High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation.
