We are seeking a
Senior Accountant
to join client's corporate accounting group. This role reports directly to the VP Controller and offers exposure to consolidated financial reporting, intercompany accounting, and complex real estate transactions across office, multifamily, hospitality, and development projects. The company has an open, team-oriented office environment and typically maintains a 40-hour work week, with only moderate increases during quarter-end and audit cycles. Key Responsibilities
Own full-cycle accounting for assigned entities, including monthly property-level transactions and journal entries Review and upload financial statements from operations teams and management companies into the corporate accounting system Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual GAAP-basis financial statements with variance analysis Maintain debt amortization schedules and manage debt service payments Manage fixed assets, accruals, depreciation, and amortization Ensure intercompany transactions and reconciliations are properly recorded Support development projects with budget vs. actual reporting, capital funding, and cost allocations Partner with auditors, tax teams, and operations as needed Respond to special requests from management and support cross-functional initiatives Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field 3–5+ years of accounting experience, preferably in real estate Strong knowledge of full-cycle accounting and financial reporting Consolidations and eliminations experience strongly preferred (public accounting background is a plus) Advanced Excel skills Strong communication skills and ability to work with owners and executives Detail-oriented, proactive, and comfortable in a fast-paced environment What We Offer
