Accounting Manager & Financial Director The

Accounting Clerk

plays a vital role in supporting the financial operations of the Skin and Cancer Institute. This position is responsible for performing a variety of accounting, bookkeeping, and financial tasks to ensure accurate and timely processing of financial data. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, organized, and capable of working independently in a fast-paced healthcare environment. What You’ll Do

Accounts Payable & Receivable Process invoices, expense reports, and vendor payments. Reconcile accounts payable and receivable balances. Monitor aging reports and follow up on outstanding payments. General Ledger Support Assist with journal entries and month-end closing procedures. Maintain accurate financial records and documentation. Support reconciliation of bank statements and credit card transactions. Payroll & Benefits Support Assist with payroll data entry and verification. Coordinate with HR for employee benefit deductions and updates. Reporting & Compliance Prepare financial reports and summaries for management. Ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting policies. Support audits and financial reviews as needed. Administrative & Operational Support Maintain organized filing systems for financial documents. Respond to internal and external inquiries regarding financial matters. Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth financial operations. What We\u2019re Looking For: Required Skills/Abilities Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite). Basic understanding of GAAP and financial principles. Excellent organizational and time management skills. Ability to handle confidential information with integrity. Strong communication and interpersonal skills Education & Experience Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Bachelor’s preferred). 1–3 years of experience in accounting or bookkeeping. Experience in healthcare or medical billing is a plus.
