We are seeking a Senior Fund Accountant to hands-on execute financial reporting across our private equity real estate funds and corporate entities. This professional will ensure timely closings, maintain audit-ready standards, and deliver best-in-class investor reporting across portfolio and asset-level analysis, consolidations, capital calls and distributions, waterfalls and carried interest, equity method accounting, and complex GP/LP partnership structures including 1031 transfers and 1250 recapture, as well as related tax processes. Lead accounting and financial reporting for real estate investment funds and corporate entities. Execute investor capital calls, distributions, management fee calculations, and waterfall/promote allocations. Manage monthly and quarterly closes, including NAV calculations, consolidations, bank reconciliations, and general ledger reviews. Implement and justify cost allocations and intercompany transfers with audit-proof rigor. Maintain and improve billing structures to ensure equity and defensibility under audit. Prepare GAAP-compliant financial statements and ensure compliance with partnership agreements and tax structuring. Coordinate annual audits and tax return filings with external teams. Serve as the point of contact for auditors, tax advisors, lenders, and internal leadership. Partner with asset management and operations to align transaction-level accounting with fund objectives. Support ad hoc projects such as system implementations, investor reporting enhancements, and regulatory filings. Ideal Candidate Profile

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA strongly preferred). 4–7 years of private equity real estate accounting experience. Deep knowledge of real estate partnership structures, waterfalls, GP/LP dynamics, and intercompany activity. Mastery of billing methodologies, cost allocations, tax processes, and audit documentation. Experience working directly with auditors, tax preparers, and investor reporting systems. Yardi, Juniper Square, Investran, MRI, or IR portal expertise preferred. Exposure to private equity real estate transactions (acquisitions, refinances, dispositions). Experience in vertically integrated firms (property management, development, asset management) is a plus. Excellent communication and presentation skills, with confidence engaging senior stakeholders. Highly organized, detail-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced environment. Rex Ecosystem-Wide Mission
