Overview
As a Senior Accountant you will play a key role in supporting the monthly close process, financial reporting, account reconciliations, and various corporate accounting initiatives. You will collaborate closely with the Assistant Controller, Controller, and cross-functional teams across finance, operations, and shared services to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting for the company and its rapidly growing divisions. $100,000.00/yr - $115,000.00/yr Additional compensation types
Annual Bonus Key Responsibilities
Core Accounting & Financial Reporting Assist with the monthly financial close process including journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliations. Prepare and maintain general ledger entries in compliance with U.S. GAAP. Support the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual consolidated financial statements. Help ensure accuracy and consistency of financial information across the platform. Collaborate with the financial analysis and reporting team to ensure completeness and accuracy of reports delivered to internal and external stakeholders. Audit & Compliance Support the annual audit process by preparing audit schedules and responding to auditor requests. Assist in maintaining and documenting internal control processes. AP Support & Administration Prepare company level cash flow statement on a monthly basis. Provide accounting support for company-level Accounts Payable processing and vendor reconciliations. Support various ad hoc projects and administrative tasks as needed, including coordination with other departments. Financial Reporting and Compliance Maintain books and records in accordance with company policies for GAAP and management accounting. Ensure accurate and timely monthly reporting for stakeholders including banking partners, equity partners, and management. Participate in Consolidated Monthly Close Process. Provide Leadership with information regarding key drivers of financial performance. Skills
Strong knowledge of management and US GAAP accounting principles, financial reporting, and regulations Exceptional communication and organizational skills High level of attention to detail Proficiency in financial software, including Microsoft Excel, ERP, Reporting, and Consolidations systems High level of confidentiality Ability to manage multiple work streams and prioritize accordingly High sense of urgency Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills Strong analytical and quantitative skills Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required. CPA or CPA-track preferred. 3–5 years of progressive accounting experience, ideally including multi-entity or consolidation environments. Public accounting and/or private industry experience in manufacturing, distribution, or services industries is a plus. Seniority level
