Our Client is a progressive, boutique CPA firm headquartered in Houston. Due to growth, Our Client is seeking an Audit Manager or Senior Manager to join its expanding practice. This role provides an opportunity to oversee diverse engagements, mentor younger professionals, and contribute to the firm’s long-term success. The client base includes both publicly and privately held companies across industries such as oil and gas, manufacturing, oilfield services, construction, real estate, private equity, technology, and hospitality. The Audit Manager/Senior Manager will lead assurance services including external audits, reviews, internal audit outsourcing, operational audits, and M&A due diligence. With direct access to partners and clients, this is a visible, client-facing role with genuine career growth potential, including a path to partnership. Responsibilities
Oversee assurance engagements, including audits, reviews, internal audit outsourcing, and due diligence. Supervise and mentor audit associates and seniors, fostering professional development. Perform technical research and resolve complex accounting and auditing issues. Manage client relationships, ensuring timely and high-quality service delivery. Collaborate with partners and leadership to support firm growth and client service excellence. Qualifications
CPA license required. Minimum of 8 years of progressive financial statement audit experience within a public accounting firm. Strong leadership skills and desire to develop and mentor junior professionals. Excellent communication and client service skills. Preferred Qualifications
Experience working with privately held clients. Industry experience in oil and gas, oilfield services, manufacturing, construction, real estate, private equity, technology, or hospitality. Benefits
