Perform detailed financial statement analysis of new and existing customers to assess creditworthiness Evaluate credit applications, trade references, credit reports, and industry-specific risk factors Identify high-risk accounts and recommend strategies for mitigation (e.g., tighter terms, collateral, guarantees) Partner with collections to resolve overdue accounts and minimize bad debt exposure Work closely with Sales, Finance, and Operations to balance risk with growth opportunities Advise senior management on credit exposures, trends, and portfolio health Recommend improvements to credit procedures, controls, and risk management processes Participate in internal audits and provide documentation as required Prepare monthly reports on credit exposure, delinquency trends, and aging performance Provide management with early warning signals and actionable insights Required Qualifications And Skills

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field (MBA/CPA/CFA preferred) 7-10 years of credit risk/credit analysis experience, preferably in distribution, wholesale, or automotive/tire industry Strong knowledge of financial statement analysis, cash flow assessment, and credit risk modeling Proficiency with ERP systems and credit bureau tools (e.g., D&B, Experian) Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills Ability to work cross-functionally and influence decisions at senior levels Job Details
