We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Accounting Manager who thrives in a fast-paced environment. This position involves participation and oversight in daily and month end accounting functions, including general ledger, account reconciliations, financial reporting, payroll, and accounts payable/receivable. The ideal candidate will be comfortable rolling up their sleeves to ensure accuracy and efficiency across all financial operations and working collaboratively with other Corporate and Divisional teams.
Responsibilities
Oversee and actively participate in daily accounting operations including:
Bank/Balance Sheet Reconciliations
Journal entries
Payroll processing
Accounts payable and receivable
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
Maintain and review general ledger, sub-ledgers, and account reconciliations.
Monitor cash flow and communicate funding needs.
Work with outside Accounting Firm for all tax-related returns and filings
Conduct analytical reviews of department income statements and corporate balance sheet.
Supervise and train accounting staff, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
Collaborate with external accountants during audits and tax filings.
Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal financial policies.
Identify and implement process improvements for efficiency and accuracy.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA preferred).
Roll-up Business Entity Structure
3–5 years of relevant accounting experience.
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., NetSuite, Sage).
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
High attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
Comfortable working independently and collaboratively.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, research abilities.
