Overview

Broker Assistant for Wholesale Insurance role at Novatae Risk Group (Dallas branch). This is an office position in Dallas focused on client relationship building and client account development. Responsibilities

Oversee a portfolio of clients through relationship building and client account development. Handle service requests, endorsements, proofs of insurance, cancellation requests, inspection questions, client/carrier correspondence, coverage analysis recommendations, and claim reporting. Process renewals following agency procedures and remarket accounts identified for renewal marketing. Provide quotes to existing clients for additional lines of business as needed. Process all account transactions timely and accurately, following established agency procedures. Follow agency credit and collection procedures in invoicing and pursuing prompt payments. Manage cancellation processes according to agency standards, addressing carrier and client requests as received. Qualifications

Property & Casualty license is required. Minimum of 2 years of previous P&C wholesale insurance experience. Proficient in basic computer skills, such as Microsoft Office and agency management software. Knowledge of commercial lines insurance coverage, products, markets, rating, and underwriting procedures is essential. Strong interpersonal and client relations skills; effective verbal and written communication with attention to detail. Ability to work independently and apply knowledge to achieve results; able to follow and help develop processes to increase efficiency. Team-oriented with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
