Position Overview The Accounts Payable Specialist is responsible for accounting and financial/business entity record keeping as well as maintaining and strategically improving the financial health of Accanto Health. The Accounts Payable Specialist works closely with the Sr. Director of Accounting, Senior Accountant and Accountant. Schedule
Full-time 40 hrs/week Monday-Friday 8a-4:30p Hybrid, 2 days onsite Compensation
Accounts Payable Specialist: Starting hourly range between $17.31 - $26.50 Final Compensation offered will be within pay range based on qualifications/experience met for the position Responsibilities
Charges expenses to accounts and cost centers by analyzing invoice/expense reports; recording entries. Obtaining property invoice approvals for payment. Pays vendors by monitoring discount opportunities; scheduling and preparing checks, ACH payments and CC payments; reconcile any payment discrepancies; ensuring credit is received for outstanding memos; issuing stop-payments if necessary. Maintains accounting ledgers by verifying and posting account transactions. Verifies vendor accounts by reconciling monthly statements and related transactions. Answer & respond to vendor inquiries. Assist in monthly closings. Assist with various audits. Perform other duties within finance as assigned. Qualifications
Two years of accounts payable experience. Strong computer knowledge. Experience with accounting systems preferred. Experience in Healthcare preferred. What we offer
