About the Team

As a Senior Revenue Accountant, you will be responsible for collaborating with various teams to optimize revenue recognition treatment on Anduril Contracts. You will contribute to important projects that enhance and accelerate our order management, forecasting, and revenue control processes. About the Job

You will analyze complicated revenue matters and provide detailed explanations in simple to understand language to key stakeholders of the business. A big focus on this role is your direct relationship with our FP&A counterparts and strong ownership in the month end close process - this includes posting various journal entries, leading gross margin calls with finance leads, performing ad-hoc tasks, and various account reconciliations. This is a critical role in a high growth company that is constantly changing and adapting. What You’ll Do

Work with Technical Accounting to ensure revenue is recognized in accordance with ASC 606 for new and modified customer contracts. Provide guidance and support to cross-functional teams on revenue recognition matters, including contract review, revenue forecasting, and deal structuring. This role requires collaboration with Program Managers, Finance Program Analysts, and various other departments. Provide guidance and support to cross-functional domestic and international subsidiaries on revenue recognition processes. Primary point of contact for revenue-related matters with the business and auditors. Look around the corner to mitigate future potential issues and mitigate actual issues with optimized processes and controls. Oversee and review the month-end close process for revenue accounting, ensuring accurate and timely recording of revenue, costs of goods sold, and related journal entries. Perform Account Reconciliations for various revenue related accounts. Contribute to the formulation of internal controls and policies in compliance with SOX, IPO readiness, and GAAP. Participate in special projects or ad-hoc analysis in support of finance department and company initiatives. Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree or above in Accounting or related field. 4+ years experience with revenue operations and/or technical accounting, with a strong foundation in ASC 606. Government Contracting and Estimate at Completion (EAC) Experience strongly preferred. Big 4 or equivalent background strongly preferred. Ability to operate independently in a fast paced environment. Strong communication skills with regard to accounting concepts and the ability to clearly and concisely explain these topics to individuals with limited accounting knowledge. Strong time management skills with ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines under pressure. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with NetSuite and/or Oracle Fusion, and Salesforce. Must be a U.S. Person due to required access to U.S. export controlled information or facilities. US Salary Range $98,000 - $130,000 USD The salary range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors, inclusive of base salary only. Actual salary offer may vary based on work experience, education and/or training, critical skills, and/or business considerations.
