We are seeking a highly skilled
JD Edwards ERP Functional Consultant
with extensive experience in
JD Edwards EnterpriseOne v9.2 Financial applications . The successful candidate will possess a solid
Finance/Accounting background
(CPA preferred) and bring deep functional expertise in JDE Financial modules and related business processes. This individual will be responsible for gathering requirements, designing solutions, configuring applications, and ensuring successful implementation and adoption of JDE Financials within the organization. Strong communication and collaboration skills are critical, as this role interfaces with business users, technical teams, project stakeholders, implementation partners, and vendors. Key Responsibilities
Lead the functional workstream for JD Edwards
Financial applications
(v9.2). Partner with
Finance and Accounting teams
to understand business processes and translate them into system solutions. Facilitate workshops to
gather, analyze, and document requirements . Perform
fit-gap analysis
to identify solution opportunities and align with JDE best practices. Create and maintain
functional and technical design documents . Configure and set up
JDE Financial applications
to support business needs. Design, coordinate, and execute
system, integration, and user acceptance testing . Develop and deliver
end-user training , training materials, and knowledge transfer sessions. Collaborate with technical teams, implementation partners, and vendors to ensure successful integrations and project delivery. Provide
post-implementation support
and continuous improvement recommendations. Required Qualifications
5+ years of experience implementing and supporting JD Edwards EnterpriseOne (v9.2 preferred)
with a focus on Financials. Strong functional knowledge of
JDE Financial applications
(e.g., General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, Expense Management, Job Costing). Solid understanding of
Finance/Accounting principles and processes . Proven track record in
ERP implementations, upgrades, or rollouts . Strong ability to create documentation, perform fit/gap analysis, and lead solution design. Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills. Ability to work collaboratively with
business users, IT teams, partners, and vendors . Preferred Qualifications
CPA designation
or equivalent accounting certification. Experience with
multi-currency, multi-entity, and consolidations
in JDE. Exposure to
integration points with Procurement, Inventory, and Manufacturing
modules. Prior experience in industries with
complex financial operations
(e.g., manufacturing, distribution, or professional services). JD Edwards certifications or other ERP credentials. Seniority level
