Attorney/Lawyer (Houston, TX) at Stange Law Firm, PC. This role focuses on Family Law, including matters such as divorce, legal separation, paternity actions, and estate planning. Responsibilities
Prepares and drafts legal documents for filing with appropriate entities and necessary correspondence Drafts pleadings and motions, including judgments and orders Corresponds with attorneys, court personnel, and clients regarding cases Interviews witnesses for court cases and prepares witnesses to testify Ensures the accuracy of all documents prepared Appears in court on all cases assigned and handles all aspects of cases Performs administrative duties as necessary, including filing, mailing, organizing files and pleadings Conducts legal research for particular issues Qualifications
J.D Texas license required Family law experience is preferred but not required Senior Associate positions are available for attorneys with five years or more of litigation experience Compensation and Benefits
Salary ranges based on experience with potential for discretionary bonuses and incentives Base salary and productivity/ profitability bonuses for billable employees 401(k) with employer matching, Roth IRA Health, dental, and vision insurance (employer-paid for employees in some plans) Paid Time Off (accrued vacation, sick days, personal days) and paid holidays Company paid laptop and cell phone Take advantage of additional benefits including malpractice insurance and Bar/CLE dues About Stange Law Firm, PC
