Indy Parenteral Manufacturing (IPM) is one of the key organizations in Lilly’s internal Global Parenteral Product Manufacturing network, responsible for the production of semi-finished commercial and clinical parenteral drug product materials within Lilly’s global drug product manufacturing pipeline. IPM also manages the commercialization activities linking Lilly\'s PR&D activities to the commercial manufacturing activities, in preparation for new parenteral product launches. The Site Procurement team provides both strategic and tactical sourcing support for direct production material sourcing needs from IPM’s Component network, which are required to support the manufacturing operations for IPM. Responsibilities

Establish and drive IPM’s site-level procurement strategy for Component Sourcing needs. Routinely conduct benchmarking analysis to evaluate the market landscape for IPM site-specific spend and propose value-driven opportunities with solid business cases. Support the formation of new third-party relationships and supply lines based on strong business cases; communicate project proposal details with positive impact and gain approval on new initiatives. Collaborate with Supply Chain, Technical Services & Manufacturing Services, and Quality to drive governance for internal components, ensuring consistency and traceability across functions. Collaborate with global stakeholders to implement component strategies that support business goals, reduce complexity, and improve supply resilience. Manage material lifecycle from receipt through consumption, ensuring accurate tracking and mitigation of loss risks. Tactics

Proactive management of supplier delivery performance and maintenance of valid due dates for open purchase orders and inspections lots. Publication and maintenance of an accurate Dispatch List. Basic Requirements

Bachelor\'s degree 3-5 years of experience in procurement sourcing; global or manufacturing procurement experience preferred. Qualified applicants must be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis. Lilly will not provide work authorization or visa sponsorship for this role. Additional Skills/Preferences

Strong negotiating skills and the ability to work autonomously, influence without authority, and prioritize effectively. Strong communication skills demonstrated via presentation and cross-functional team leadership. Demonstrated ability to learn and adapt to continual change; proactive in identifying issues within IPM\'s external supply chains and driving solutions to completion. APICS CPIM Certification OSSCE Class A Certification knowledge or other Supply Chain certification MBA Project Management experience Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt training; SAP experience Additional Information

Travel: 10% Location: Lilly Technology Center South. On-site attendance is required four days a week. Actual compensation will depend on candidate\'s education, experience, skills, and location. The anticipated wage for this position is $57,750 - $129,800. Full-time employees are eligible for a company bonus and a comprehensive benefits program, including 401(k), pension, medical and other benefits.
