Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for an Associate Attorney in the Greater Houston area. The attorney will manage both pre-litigation and litigation personal injury cases, provide legal advice, conduct research, negotiate settlements, and represent clients in hearings, mediations, and court proceedings. The role also involves preparing legal documents, developing case strategies, and working closely with clients and colleagues to secure the best possible outcomes. What You’ll Be Doing Managing a caseload of pre-litigation and litigation personal injury cases Taking and defending depositions Serving as lead counsel in litigation matters, including hearings, mediations, and court appearances Preparing cases for trial and collaborating with the team on strategy Maintaining consistent and clear communication with clients Drafting pleadings, motions, discovery, and other filings Overseeing all aspects of case management from evaluating claims and developing legal strategies to negotiating settlements, preparing for trial, and ensuring deadlines and court requirements are met What We’re Looking For Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school Licensed to practice law in Texas, in good standing 2–3 years of legal experience, with a focus on personal injury law Knowledge of labor and employment law is a plus Strong skills in legal advice, negotiation, and advocacy Proven ability to conduct thorough legal research and analysis Excellent written and verbal communication skills Organized, client-focused, and able to work both independently and as part of a team Prior experience in a similar role is highly beneficial What We Offer Competitive salary plus performance-based bonuses Health, dental, and vision benefits Paid time off and holidays Mentorship and real opportunities for growth A supportive, team-oriented work environment Seniority level
