Primarily Monday-Friday from 8am to 5pm. Participate in the after-hours on-call counseling center rotation. Some after-hours programming and activities as needed. Occasional travel to regional and out of area meetings (as needed for training and/or collaboration with other mental health professionals). Full-Time / Part-Time:

12 Months Position Summary

Primary responsibilities include providing triage, crisis intervention, and case management services to students. Participation in the on-call counseling center rotation. Additional responsibilities include serving on university committees, consulting with parents/faculty/staff and collaborating with staff, faculty, and community members/agencies. Provide individual and group therapy sessions with students. Compensation & Benefits

Exempt Required Education/Experience/Skills

Required:

Master’s degree from an accredited graduate program and a current North Carolina counseling license. Preferred Education/Experience/Skills

Preferred:

Licensed in the State of North Carolina. Experience in working with college student population in a healthcare and/or college setting. Certification as a suicide prevention specialist. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Demonstrate knowledge in mental health conditions/issues related to college student population, as well as theoretical and practical model of counseling and therapy. Special Instructions to the Applicant
