FT Front Desk Coordinator role at
IVX Health , located in Chicago, IL (Old Town + West Loop Clinics). Full-Time | Monday – Friday, plus rotating Saturdays. We’re looking for a Front Desk Coordinator who delivers more than a friendly face—an organized operations pro who helps redefine the patient experience from the moment someone walks through our doors. This is a high-impact, patient-facing role where attention to detail, healthcare knowledge, and an ownership mindset make a difference. Responsibilities include managing appointment scheduling and patient interactions, verifying insurance, and setting the tone for each visit. About The Role As a Front Desk Coordinator, you’ll shape the care experience for our patients. This Monday-Friday role supports the daily operations of our infusion centers, from managing schedules to maintaining patient records. You will help ensure centers run smoothly and patients feel valued. What You’ll Do
Lead First Impressions — Greet patients professionally, answer phones, and assist visitors with care Manage Scheduling — Schedule, reschedule, and confirm appointments; ensure pre-visit requirements and authorizations are in place Operational Excellence — Verify patient insurance, update demographics, and collect copays accurately Collaborate with Clinical Teams — Coordinate patient flow and communicate with nursing staff to ensure a smooth, safe experience Maintain an Inviting Space — Keep front desk and reception area organized and welcoming Support Across Centers — Flex to support other centers within your market during absences, openings, or high-volume days What We’re Looking For
1–3 years of front desk or administrative experience in a medical or healthcare setting High School Diploma or GED Understanding of insurance verification, billing basics, and patient intake Proficiency in EHR/EMR systems and scheduling software Knowledge of medical terminology and patient-facing protocols Excellent customer service and communication skills Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment with accuracy Fast learner with adaptability to evolving workflows Dependable and flexible to support multiple centers Why You’ll Love IVX Health
