Critical Care opportunity at Academic Center – Wilkes-Barre, PA. The Pulmonary, Critical Care and Sleep Medicine division at Geisinger Wyoming Valley Medical Center in Wilkes-Barre, PA, is seeking a board-certified/eligible Critical Care fellowship trained physician to enhance its growing Critical Care team. Our Intensivist Program includes a 25-bed ICU and a Level I trauma center. This position offers the opportunity to engage with the Geisinger Pulmonary & Critical Care Medicine Fellowship, contributing to the education and mentorship of fellows rotating through our program. $40K start incentive, insurance on your first day, malpractice with tail, PSLF Program. Responsibilities

100% Critical Care Medicine 14 shifts per month Procedures include central line placement, arterial lines (upper & lower extremity), endotracheal intubation, chest tubes, thoracentesis, paracentesis, bronchoscopy, ultrasound and dialysis catheterization Support from a full range of dedicated specialists and subspecialists Teaching with Geisinger’s Pulmonary Critical Care fellowship in the Northeast hosting four fellows/year plus Sleep Medicine fellows, Internal Medicine residents and Geisinger medical students Participate in scholarly activities, committees and research as well as interdisciplinary programs with Tumor Board (Thoracic Surgery and Oncology) at both cancer centers Present and participate in weekly case conferences, journal clubs, fellow and resident didactics and pathology conferences Clinical and academic titles upon start at Geisinger College of Health Sciences Career development opportunities including Geisinger supported MBA, leadership certifications and education/quality leadership certifications Opportunity for mentored grant funded research and collaboration with critical care advanced practice providers What We Offer

Doctor of Medicine or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (Required) Licensed in Pennsylvania Board-certified or eligible in Critical Care; fellowship trained in Critical Care About Geisinger & Location
