Overview
We’re looking for a Junior Associate Attorney to join our in-office team. This is an entry-level role designed for a recent law school graduate or newly licensed attorney who is eager to build a career in personal injury litigation. You’ll work directly under the guidance of the managing partner, gaining hands-on training and exposure to all aspects of personal injury law—from case intake through trial preparation. This role is ideal for someone with strong research and writing skills, who is detail-oriented, and who is ready to learn the practice of litigation in a supportive, mentorship-driven environment. Responsibilities
Draft basic pleadings, motions, and discovery requests/responses Conduct legal research and prepare supporting memoranda Assist in preparing for depositions, mediations, and trials Review and organize medical records, police reports, and other key documents Communicate with clients, experts, and court staff under attorney supervision Use case management software (Clio, SmartAdvocate, Filevine, etc.) to track case progress and deadlines Support the managing partner with day-to-day case management tasks Qualifications
J.D. degree and admission (or pending admission) to the [State] Bar Up to one year of experience in litigation or a related legal setting (internships/clinics accepted) Familiarity with case management software such as Clio, SmartAdvocate, or Filevine preferred Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) Strong legal research, writing, and communication skills Highly organized, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks Compensation
$70,000 - $75,000 per year
