AssetMark is seeking an Associate People Business Partner to join our growing HR team. This role will support the People Team in delivering HR solutions that enhance employee experience, foster engagement, and ensure compliance. The ideal candidate will be eager to learn, collaborative, and able to build trust with employees and managers while providing day-to-day HR support. This is a full-time position in our Phoenix, AZ office with a hybrid work schedule. We can consider candidates for this position who are able to accommodate a hybrid work schedule and are within a reasonable commuting distance to our office location in Phoenix, AZ. Responsibilities

Provide first-line HR support to employees and managers by answering questions and guiding them through policies and processes. Partner with People Business Partners to support employee relations cases, escalating complex matters as needed. Deliver core HR processes effectively, including performance management, promotions, terminations, investigations, and leaves of absence. Assist with driving accountability and actively manage quarterly Check-ins, Org, Goal setting and Compensation planning within your client group Assist in coordinating HR programs such as onboarding, engagement activities, and recognition initiatives. Maintain accurate employee records in the HRIS and assist with reporting needs. Support the rollout of corporate HR initiatives and help track progress on key projects. Research and share best practices to improve processes and the employee experience. Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable employment laws. Support data analysis and reporting Build foundational partnerships with managers Coach middle line managers for direct conversations with team Help manage job expectations (including time and attendance) for employees Education & Experience

Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience; coursework in HR or related field preferred. 2–4 years of experience in Human Resources or a related role (internships included). Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

Basic knowledge of HR processes, employment laws, and compliance. Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build relationships at all levels. Highly organized with attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks. Proficiency in MS Office Suite; experience with HRIS systems (Workday a plus). Curiosity, willingness to learn, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. Compensation

The Base Salary range for this position is between $70,000-$85,000. This information reflects a base salary range that AssetMark reasonably expects to pay for the position based on a number of factors which may include job-related knowledge, skills, education, experience, and actual work location. This position will also be eligible for additional variable incentive compensation and competitive benefits. Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the US to be considered.
