The salary range for this position is $107,014.85 to $165,655.03. For newly hired individuals; the starting salary will normally be at the minimum of the salary range. For current Judiciary employees, salary upon promotion or advancement will be an increase of 5% of base salary, not to exceed the maximum of the range, or the minimum salary of the band/level, whichever is greater. REMOTE WORK:
The Judiciary currently offers a hybrid work schedule, and this position may qualify for up to 2 days of remote work outside of Judiciary buildings. To participate in this program, you will be required to install a multifactor authentication app on your phone or tablet and have high speed home internet access. Note:

Example of Duties: The New Jersey Judiciary, Essex Vicinage, is seeking a highly motivated, dynamic individual committed to the provision of quality service, with strong leadership, administrative, financial management, communication and writing skills, to serve as Court Executive 2B (Civil Division Manager). Under the direction of the Trial Court Administrator, the Civil Division Manager is responsible for the management and administration of the Civil, Special Civil Part, and General Equity areas, including case flow processing, case management, and policy and procedure development. The selected individual will work as a strategic partner with the Assignment Judge, Trial Court Administrator, and other Judges to ensure efficient court operations. The selected candidate must inspire and motivate Civil Division staff toward goal accomplishment, establish tangible goals and standards, and implement leadership strategies to accomplish organizational and divisional goals. Plan, distribute, coordinate and monitor work assignments; evaluate performance; ensure staff are appropriately selected, utilized, developed and trained; recommend personnel actions; assess training needs; determine goals and objectives. Must possess outstanding supervisory abilities, strong negotiating skills, financial management competence, and sound decision making/problem solving skills. Prepare statistical reports and serve on statewide and local committees. Performs additional duties as required. Responsibilities include regular and predictable physical presence at the worksite as an essential function. Qualifications: Graduation from an accredited college or university with a bachelor's degree and five years of professional administrative and/or program management experience, including responsibility for program development/implementation and achievement of program goals; reviewing court activities for compliance; consulting with judges, attorneys and law clerks; evaluating case management systems; coordinating activities between agencies; and/or preparing/analyzing case processing statistical reports; and three years of supervision of staff. Substitution:
Applicants who do not possess the required education may substitute additional professional experience on a year-for-year basis. An associate’s degree and two years of additional professional experience may be substituted for the bachelor's degree. A master’s degree may be substituted for one year of experience; a law degree may be substituted for two years of experience. Education Note:
