Overview
Clinical Cancer Genetics Counselor - Assistant Professor - Human Genetics at The Ohio State University College of Medicine. This clinical excellence faculty position in the Division of Human Genetics offers opportunities in clinical care, teaching, and translational cancer genetics research within a collaborative environment.
Responsibilities
Provide clinical genetic services in cancer genetics clinics.
Teach genetic counseling graduate students, medical students, residents, and fellows; supervise clinical rotations.
Engage in translational cancer genetics research programs.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including clinicians, PhDs, and MDs.
Qualifications
Clinical faculty (any rank) – physician-scientists and/or researchers with titles such as assistant professor-clinical, associate professor-clinical, or professor-clinical. Earned MD, PhD, or other terminal degree in the relevant field. Not eligible for tenure and appointed for fixed terms (three to five years). Primary focus on clinical care, with potential teaching and/or research responsibilities.
