Financial Services Consultant I , you will play a crucial role in helping our members build and maintain a solid financial foundation. This includes opening new membership accounts, consulting with members on consumer lending needs, educating them on available products and services relevant to their situation, researching inquiries and ensuring follow-through to resolution, and handling basic transactions such as deposits and withdrawals. This role is heavily relationship-based with a focus on getting to know our members personally to provide tailored financial solutions that are in their best interest. The ideal candidate has a strong consulting and customer service background, a collaborative spirit, and a passion for helping others achieve their goals. Responsibilities
Open new membership accounts Consult with members on consumer lending needs Educate members on available products and services relevant to their situation Research inquiries and ensure follow-through to resolution Handle basic transactions such as deposits and withdrawals Develop strong member relationships to understand needs and provide tailored financial solutions Qualifications
At least one year of relevant customer service experience; prior consulting and sales experience highly preferred High School Diploma or GED equivalent Positive attitude and proven ability to drive sales through excellent service Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively Ability to problem solve independently and resolve challenges using available resources Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage time Prior cash handling experience and general computer skills are highly preferred Bilingual English/Spanish preferred Compensation and Benefits
