Overview
CSO is looking for Counselors to work in our CBHC (Community Behavioral Health Clinic) Emergency Services Program (ESP) in Greenfield. Our ESPs offer clients behavioral health assessments, intervention and stabilization (for youth, families and adults), 24-hour availability, and are a preferred alternative to hospital emergency departments. We provide daily assessment and brief counseling, case management, nursing support and peer support. This position will be responsible for the care and treatment of assigned program clients, as well as specific tasks necessary to program operation. Your Background
Bachelors’ Degree with 2 years of experience working with similar populations High School Diploma and/or Associate's degree may be substituted for 5 years of experience Valid Driver's license and reliable transportation required Bilingual candidates are strongly encouraged to apply. What We Offer

Provide supportive, therapeutic counseling and safety for clients utilizing the program Assist clients with activities of daily living, including self-care, cooking, recreation, and medication administration and documentation according to individual treatment plans and, for overnight shifts, following program procedures for clients Function as an active member of the Treatment Team in the therapeutic setting, including monitoring respite clients, hourly bed checks and documentation, and providing closer observation as needed Answer and direct crisis telephone calls according to established procedures and as required for program support Prepare daily evening meal for clients and staff if working the evening shift Present cases to insurance companies and obtain prior approvals as assigned Employment Details
