Overview
Opcenter Functional consultant role at Jobs via Dice. Location: San Jose, CA. This position focuses on semiconductor wafer fab automation engineering with emphasis on SECS/GEM interfaces and OpCenter modeling.
Responsibilities
Design, develop, and integrate SECS/GEM interfaces for semiconductor manufacturing equipment.
Configure equipment to communicate with host systems (e.g., set up communication parameters, define data collection variables).
Create and manage Siemens Camstar OpCenter modeling recipes for equipment, including downloading, uploading, and validating them.
Collect real-time data from equipment sensors and processes; monitor equipment status and performance metrics.
Implement data collection strategies for statistical process control (SPC).
Apply functional experience in GUI, tool scheduling, recipe management and factory automation with SECS/GEM.
Maintain and enhance test automation frameworks for continuous improvement.
Participate in fit-gap analysis; process modeling and standardization with area lead and process SMEs.
Work with lead SMEs to develop factory automation requirements; provide estimates and status for all stories.
Prepare documentation supporting validation of factory automation works across teams to support MES development.
Provide HyperCare and Go-Live support.
Qualifications
Experience in semiconductor manufacturing processes.
Deep understanding of SECS/GEM standards (SEMI E30 and related standards).
Experience with SECS/GEM message structure, data formats, and communication protocols.
Experience developing and integrating SECS/GEM interfaces for semiconductor equipment.
Experience configuring equipment communication with host systems (data collection variables, parameters).
Experience creating and managing Siemens Camstar OpCenter modeling recipes and related activities.
Ability to collect and analyze data from equipment sensors; monitor performance metrics.
Knowledge of SPC data collection strategies and implementation.
Ability to work quickly, learn autonomously, and collaborate with client partners to meet objectives.
Strong documentation and testing practices.
