As the strategic business leader, the Club General Manager will orchestrate all facets of Club operations, enhancing the membership experience. The Club General Manager is accountable for all administrative functions including budget, control, strategic planning, membership and golf sales and marketing strategies. This role requires strategic oversight and operational agility to ensure outstanding financial performance, member satisfaction, and team development. The Club General Manager reports to the Managing Director of Omni La Costa. Responsibilities

STRATEGIC LEADERSHIP Steer the Club’s strategic direction, aligning business goals with exceptional service standards for members. Spearhead long-term planning, including business, capital, and budgeting strategies. Provide strategic direction and direct support to ensure an elevated member-centric culture. Assist in developing the Club’s long-range and annual business, capital, and budget plans. Participate in Omni La Costa Executive committee meetings. Oversee and guide the club senior leadership team, representing all aspects of club operations. Identify key drivers of business success. Lead member advisory board meetings and communication with the Managing Director. OPERATIONAL EXCELLENCE Oversee all divisions of the Club’s operation (Membership, golf, family & adult programming, tennis, health and fitness) to ensure seamless integration and high-quality service. Develop and refine all member-centric policies and procedures. Collaborate with HR, engineering, security, finance, food & beverage, catering, and banquet teams to leverage campus amenities and services. Develop the management organizational model and initiate improvements; supervise and direct work of all club employees. Communicate a clear and consistent message regarding the Club and resort goals to produce results. Oversee care and maintenance of the Club’s physical assets and facilities. Collaborate with Omni Corporate leadership to meet brand standards and initiatives. TEAM DEVELOPMENT & CULTURE Cultivate a dynamic leadership team and promote career development and operational excellence. Recruit, train, and develop staff to retain high-quality talent in a positive environment. Create a cohesive leadership team and favorable business environment with consistent results. Develop and oversee Omni culture for club operations; foster associate engagement and service excellence. Implement SOPs, training programs, department meetings, and performance management processes. Lead by example with professional behavior, effective communication, and energy. Balance tradition with industry best practices to enhance the member experience. Maintain service-focused culture, recognize member preferences, and ensure excellent service. Be a mentor and role model; implement standardized roles and performance reviews. MEMBER AND COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT Engage with members to strengthen relationships and enhance the Club’s reputation. Lead member relations initiatives to improve retention and acquisition; ensure high standards in programming and events. Be the face of the Club; be visible and accessible to members and guests. Welcome new members and solicit feedback on services and programming. Plan and design programming for the calendar year; develop communications plans for programs. FINANCIAL & RISK MANAGEMENT Ensure financial performance through forecasting and resource management; take an active role in risk management. Prepare annual operating and capital budgets; manage and report operations to achieve results. Develop monthly forecasts and dashboards; monitor revenue, expenses, and labor against plans. Ensure compliance with laws and internal controls; manage risk (legal and workers’ compensation). Report operating results to the Managing Director; drive capital and operations budgeting processes. Oversee service contracts, accounts payable, and labor expenditures within budget parameters. Leverage relationships with the Resort and Omni to serve members and improve performance. Set cost/quality/pricing standards to balance member value and fiscal responsibility. Maintain information systems and monitor internal controls; evaluate amenity offerings for value and relevance. FACILITIES Oversee maintenance, cleanliness, and safety of the Club’s facilities. Ensure facilities are in excellent condition with preventive maintenance planning. Assess assets including buildings, golf courses, and equipment; comply with laws and environmental regulations. CAPITAL PROJECT MANAGEMENT Oversee current and future capital projects; track needs and status; communicate with stakeholders. Assist Director of Engineering with contractor management, scheduling, cost tracking, and quality control. Manage member experience during capital projects and related impacts. Qualifications

To perform this job successfully, the following are representative of the knowledge, skills, and abilities required. Reasonable accommodations may be made for individuals with disabilities. A minimum of 10 years in progressively responsible management roles, culminating in a General Manager position at a private club/resort of similar scale. Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Hospitality Management, or equivalent is preferred. Professional certifications (CCM, PGA) or similar development are highly desired. Strong financial acumen and executive leadership experience as a General Manager at a multi-course facility. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with ability to lead a high-performing team. Proven track record in delivering best-in-class customer service and enhancing member experience. Experience building budgets, managing expenditures, and driving revenue and cost control. History of selecting, training, and motivating a service-oriented management team and staff; evidenced by excellent survey results. Proven success in board and committee management. Experience developing membership programming for diverse demographics; knowledge of F&B programming that resonates with members. Working knowledge of association/property management technologies to improve operations and member experience. Supervisory Responsibilities:

Director of Golf; Director of Agronomy; Director of Membership; Membership and Golf Sales team; other personnel as determined by Senior Leadership Team. Language Skills:

Proficient English; ability to read and interpret P&L statements; effective verbal and written communication with guests and staff. Reasoning Ability:

Ability to manage multiple tasks, demonstrate financial responsibility, and solve problems. Physical Requirements:

Regular standing, walking, use of hands, talking, hearing; ability to work flexible hours; ability to lift up to 60 pounds; professional appearance. Work Environment:
