GEICO is seeking a highly skilled and experienced

Senior Researcher, UX Research . This position has a hybrid work arrangement requiring on-site presence 2-3 days a week at one of the following locations: Chevy Chase, MD; New York City, NY; Washington, DC; Chicago, IL; Seattle, WA. Base pay range:

Job Responsibilities

Collaborate with cross-functional teams (product managers, designers, engineers) to execute research studies; identify research opportunities and manage scope, execution, analysis, and delivery.

Participate in all phases of the user research process, including recruitment, study design, data collection, analysis, and reporting using qualitative and quantitative methods (usability testing, surveys, interviews, competitive analysis) to gain deep insights into user needs and behaviors.

Analyze data to identify patterns and generate actionable insights; communicate findings to stakeholders through reports, presentations, and workshops to inform design decisions.

Advocate for user-centered design principles and act as a strategic partner throughout the product development lifecycle.

Stay current with research methodologies, tools, and industry trends; continuously evaluate and improve research practices to deliver impactful results.

Basic Qualifications

5+ years of experience in user experience research (or 3+ with a Master's degree).

5+ years of experience with qualitative and quantitative research methods, including usability testing, surveys, interviews, and ethnographic research.

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in a research-related field.

Strong expertise in both qualitative and quantitative methods, including usability testing, surveys, interviews, and ethnographic research.

Proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools (PowerBI or Tableau).

Solid understanding of user-centered design principles and methodologies.

Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex findings to technical and non-technical audiences.

Ability to influence cross-functional teams and drive user-centric design decisions.

Annual Salary $104,550.00 - $172,200.00

The salary range is a general guideline. Final offer depends on factors including experience, education, location, and market conditions.
