What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)

Lead, develop, and retain high-performing sales teams for rare disease and cardiometabolic products

Ensure consistent sales performance that meets or exceeds national forecasts and brand objectives

Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to align and execute strategies

Build credibility and relationships with key customers in the rare disease market

Analyze sales and customer data to optimize resource allocation and meet sales goals

What is Required (Qualifications)

Minimum of a bachelor\'s degree; advanced degree (MBA, PhD, MD) preferred

At least 15 years of experience in the pharmaceutical/biopharmaceutical industry, with 10 years in sales leadership/management

Proven success in leading sales for rare disease products

Strong understanding of the payer environment and challenges within the healthcare system

Ability to travel extensively on a national level

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)

Experience in biologics and buy and bill products

Background in musculoskeletal or genetic hearing loss rare disease markets

Proven track record of hiring, coaching, and developing top talent

Experience selling to diverse customer segments

Strong strategic thinking skills to improve performance
