This Opportunity
Lead planning, development, coordination, and direction of multiple wastewater infrastructure projects such as wastewater treatment, pumping, distribution, storage or conveyance
Maintain close relationships with clients throughout development of projects and after completion
Guide team in developing creative solutions to complex wastewater treatment and conveyance challenges, working closely with our team of engineers, designers and other professionals
Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to identify and mitigate project risks and deliver innovative solutions
EssentialQualifications
Bachelor’s degree in civil or environmental engineering or other related engineering field of study
Registered as a Professional Engineer
Demonstrated experience with comprehensive design, construction and project management of wastewater treatment and/or conveyance projects
Proven experience in proposal writing and client management; demonstrated ability to develop new business opportunities and win project proposals
Must be located in either Des Moines, Iowa or Omaha, Nebraska, or surrounding areas with ability to travel for client meetings as needed
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in civil or environmental engineering or other related engineering field of study
Registered as a Professional Engineer in Iowa or Nebraska
Demonstrated experience with comprehensive design, construction and project management of wastewater treatment and/or conveyance projects
Proven experience in proposal writing and client management; demonstrated ability to develop new business opportunities and win project proposals

Base compensation is expected to be in the range of $150,000 and $170,000 based on skill set and experience. Our full benefits package is described in the SEH Hiring Journey.
