Counter Sales
associate, you are the "face of the retail store" and the go-to person for customers entering our retail stores for all automotive needs. You don’t need to disassemble engines, but a background and knowledge of automotive parts is required. This role offers opportunities to grow within the company, whether you pursue a career as a Parts Specialist or explore other roles in the future. Responsibilities
Provide auto parts answers and solutions for retail and wholesale customers in person at the counter or over the phone Use your parts knowledge to assist other NAPA team members in answering customer questions Deliver outstanding customer care and interactions with everyone who enters the NAPA Store Contribute to a customer-focused, high-energy environment in a fast-paced store Welcome retail customers and engage them to provide a positive consumer experience Operate technology including computer, cash register, telephone, and paper catalog systems Qualifications
Valid Driver's License Previous experience in a parts store or automotive industry, or willingness to learn all things auto parts High School Diploma or GED; technical or trade school courses or degree is a plus Excellent verbal and written communication skills Love fast-paced retail environments Strong listening skills and empathy for customers Nice to have
Background or passion for automotive, heavy equipment, farm industry, diesel, marine, or dealership Experience in a parts store, auction, retail store, auto body/collision Knowledge of cataloging and/or inventory management systems Customer-centric mindset ASE Certifications What’s in it for you (Benefits)

This position offers an hourly pay of $17.75. Pay progression may apply, with top end of the range reached within 12 months of hire for eligible positions. Starting rate for other roles is based on individual skills, experience, and qualifications. How to apply
