Overview
Waters is seeking a dynamic contributor to fill the role of a Sr Mass Spectrometry Sales Development Specialist in our Biologics business. The Biologics Commercial team is directly responsible for customers primarily engaged in large molecule work. This role will have the exciting opportunity to drive the sales of our full range of Mass Spectrometry products and services, which include Ultra Performance Liquid Chromatography System, Mass Spectrometers (Quadrupole, Tandem Quadrupole, TOF, QTOF, QTOF Hybrid), software, consumables and services for the western region of the United States. Responsibilities
Meet or exceed sales targets Maintain installed-base customer satisfaction Purposefully develop new prospects and penetrate competitive accounts Visit customers daily to highlight Waters solutions and help customers with any technical obstacles in their way Build technical competency on Waters solutions to be perceived by customers as a credible resource Maintain current knowledge on vertical markets dynamics, application trends, and other critical business information Provide information to marketing team to create business development programs Maintain CRM and leverage sales tools and applications Submit accurate and timely monthly sales forecasts Develop business through monthly plan of action Qualifications
Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in a scientific area such as chemistry, biology, or biochemistry 3+ years chromatography and mass spectrometry experience UPLC, Mass Spec, field sales and/or marketing is a plus Overnight travel is required Committed and eager to achieve results Strong communication and presentation skills Highly organized with good time management skills Strong interpersonal skills and a good listener Matured disposition, positive attitude and strong sense of dedication Adaptive to a dynamic and ever-changing environment Strong technical background in analytical technologies, especially LC and MS Base pay ranges from $100,100 to $133,650 per year, with pay based on location, knowledge, skills, and experience Company Description
