Purpose The Territory Sales Manager develops and expands relationships with independent wholesale distribution and retail customers and is responsible for delivering strategic account objectives that align with Roseburg’s core values. Key Responsibilities
Business Advisor: Understand and anticipate customers’ needs in depth and communicate this within the team and organization; develop compelling solutions to customer needs that differentiate Roseburg from competition; engage in tactical and strategic account planning to achieve Roseburg objectives; bring fresh insight to customers’ business to deliver a competitive advantage. Relationship Manager: Build and manage internal and external relationships that foster multiple levels of relationships with key leaders within Roseburg and customers’ organizations; manage the contact matrix to ensure all potential points of contact are attended to; build trust throughout the customer’s organization and influence purchasing, sales, and administration functions. Brand Manager: Manage expectations about how Roseburg-branded products are targeted and used; ensure Roseburg market strategy is executed; deliver guidelines to Roseburg program partners; drive demand for Roseburg products through the sales channel; influence product specifications where appropriate. Technology and Others: Embrace the growing role of technology (CRM, virtual constructs, electronic commerce, etc.); perform other duties as assigned; model company core values. Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing or technical field Five or more years of sales experience in construction and/or building materials Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment; excellent interpersonal, listening, verbal and written communication skills Strong self-motivation, organization, and sense of urgency Basic understanding of financial principles Understanding of Roseburg product portfolio and competitive position Good understanding of competitors’ strengths and weaknesses; proven track record in selling, probing, identifying buying signals and negotiating for mutual benefit Valid driver license with a safe driving record; ability and willingness to travel overnight approximately 50% of the time EOE statement: AN EQUAL OPPORTUNITY EMPLOYER INCLUDING DISABILITY AND VETERANS Job Details
