About the Job:
The Territory Sales Manager is responsible for maximizing the share of territory through high volume outbound prospecting and inbound inquiry conversion to achieve activations.
Location:
Rapid City, SD (Relocation package offered)
What You'll Be Doing:
Sales Growth:
Develop and execute strategic sales plans for Containers, Ground Level Offices, Modular Structures, and value-added products.
Spend approximately 40% of time on outbound prospecting, 30% on inbound inquiry conversion, and the rest on account development and customer visits.
Identify and prioritize potential customers and market segments.
Maintain a sales pipeline and convert leads into sales.
Focus on high-volume project and transactional opportunities, offering turnkey solutions.
Customer Relationship Management:
Build and maintain strong customer relationships through communication and site visits.
Understand customer needs and provide product recommendations.
Use Salesforce CRM to track performance and manage customer interactions.
Market Analysis:
Stay informed about industry trends and competitor activities.
Conduct market research to identify growth opportunities.
Provide market feedback to management.
Quoting and Pricing:
Employ consultative selling to maximize pricing.
Prepare accurate quotes and negotiate sales terms.
Coordinate with internal teams for order processing.
Reporting and Documentation:
Keep detailed records of sales activities and forecasts.
Generate reports on sales and market trends.
Meet daily/weekly sales expectations.
Team Collaboration:
Work with operations, logistics, and support teams.
Support colleagues to achieve sales goals.
Education and Qualifications:
High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
At least 1 year of outbound prospecting or sales experience.
Willingness to travel 10-20% for customer visits.
Strong communication skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office and virtual meeting platforms.
Preferred:
Experience in high-volume transactional sales.
Experience with leasing and solution selling approaches.
