We are looking for a Senior Account Manager, reporting to the Global Account Director within the Strategic Segment. You will be the first point of contact and responsible for supporting the day-to-day business activity and overall health of the assigned partner(s). You will work internally across Sony Interactive Entertainment (SIE) and with external partner(s) to deliver agreed commercial and strategic objectives globally.
Responsibilities
Own day-to-day business for assigned partner studio(s), ensuring smooth operation and hand-off of operational needs through internal teams, addressing the overall health of the Partner.
Develop and maintain comprehensive knowledge of all aspects of the Partner's business, portfolio, and long-term strategic vision.
Identify business opportunities across the Partner's portfolio and live services.
Provide guidance and be a primary contact for content pipeline and other operational or technical situations that impact the rhythm of the business.
Communicate business, platform, and policy updates to Partners.
Execute the Studio Relationship Development Program, evangelizing the PlayStation opportunity across the developer landscape and generating strategic alignment with studios.
Contribute to or create account/account segment reports, and present data and insights to internal and external teams.
Execute external and internal business planning sessions to meet the needs of the Partner (JBRs, JBPs, Content Lifecycle Plans, Performance Reviews, Post-Mortems, and governance).
Collaborate within the Partner Commerce Team to establish and execute Partner plans; understand market dynamics and shifting consumer demands to adjust priorities and account plans as needed.
Support SIE’s operating models, plans, and deliver against collective Partner/SIE annual KPIs.
Identify and deliver content suitable for platform activity and campaigns (PS Services, PS Direct, PS Stars, etc.).
Build internal and external relationships with strong cross-functional collaboration.
Assist with the facilitation of Partner participation at PlayStation PR/media events and B2B requests.
Participate in yearly budgeting and quarterly forecasting for the account set and help set expectations internally for market, release slate, and overall status of the business.
Participate in and support joint business reviews, Monthly/Weekly team meetings, and business performance reviews.
Input, monitor, and track CRM progress through Salesforce.
Support Account and process documentation assigned by the Global Account Director.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field, or commensurate relevant experience.
5+ years of experience in Sales, Account Management, Publisher Relations, Studio Relations, Technical Account Management or other relevant service-oriented roles that manage revenue.
Strong communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills.
Analytically minded with data experience.
Experience working in Video Gaming, Media, Entertainment, High-tech, or other related verticals is a plus.
Compensation and Benefits The base pay range for this role is $161,300 — $241,900 USD and may vary by location and other factors. This role is eligible for SIE’s top-tier benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision, a 401(k) with company match, paid time off, wellness program, and employee discounts for Sony products.
