Overview
Enterprise Account Executive (Denver - Corporate) Verkada designs six product lines — video security cameras, access control, environmental sensors, alarms, workplace, and intercoms — delivered through an integrated, cloud-based software platform. The company supports more than 33,500 organizations across 93 countries and has a growing corporate sales footprint. This role covers the Denver region within the Corporate (Non-SLED) market for 2,000–20,000 employee organizations. This position reports to the Regional Sales Director (Enterprise, West - Corporate). What You'll Do
Develop and implement a comprehensive territory plan Manage the entire sales process to achieve quota with emphasis on net new business: prospecting, product demos/trials, strategic negotiations with customers and channel partners Meet or exceed targets and contribute to team/company success; penetrate greenfield accounts and achieve quarterly quota of 2–3 qualified net new logos Initiate and manage expansion discussions to drive customer retention; identify goals, requirements, budgets, and key decision makers Devise a customer acquisition strategy and collaborate with channel partner sales to generate at least 5 deal registrations per quarter Drive growth and market presence through customer engagements, marketing campaigns, executive briefings, conferences, events, and security market knowledge Gain deep understanding of Verkada’s business and products to sell to C-level executives within Enterprise organizations Create presentations and proposals, create urgency to close deals, and negotiate pricing/agreements Provide account analysis, conduct quarterly business reviews, and generate revenue forecasts Travel regularly, estimated >50% of the time, domestically and internationally as needed What You Bring
5–10+ years quota-carrying B2B software/hardware sales, with emphasis on building greenfield territories and landing new business in Enterprise; 3+ years Enterprise sales preferred Proven success selling complex technical solutions; hunter mentality with a track record of prospecting, closing new logos, and competing against incumbents Willingness to maintain a strong field presence and travel up to 50% Experience selling to CIO/CTO/CISO/CFO leaders at Fortune 1000 companies is highly preferred Experience with channel partner sales, MEDDIC methodology, and process-driven sales cycles Background in security software, physical security, hardware, networking, SaaS/Cloud is a plus Strong communication skills and ability to engage with all levels from end users to executives Self-motivated, tenacious, and curious with high IQ/EQ and self-awareness BS/BA degree strongly preferred US Employee Benefits
