Our hotel, under new ownership and management, features 414 guestrooms and 30,500 square feet of meeting space, including an Executive Meeting Center. Job Summary: As a Group Sales Manager, you will play a vital role in supporting the hotel's financial goals by selling guestrooms, catering services, and banquet facilities. Your efforts will focus on direct client contact to maximize total room revenues. This role reports to the Director of Sales and Marketing.
Essential Functions:
Be friendly, customer-centric, and enjoy working in a team environment.
Solicit, negotiate, and secure new and repeat business through sales calls, prospecting, building client relationships, referrals, and networking.
Meet or exceed sales expectations.
Build a client base across market segments including corporations, associations, and social groups.
Prepare proposals and contracts for clients.
Negotiate rates and services within approved guidelines.
Conduct site inspections and entertain qualified clients in accordance with company policies.
Requirements:
Experience with Hilton brands is a plus.
At least one year of experience in Hotel Group Sales, with a proven sales record.
Knowledge of software such as Microsoft Office; Delphi FDC sales system knowledge is a plus.
