Our client, a dynamic and growing financial services firm based in Washington, D.C., is seeking a highly skilled
Senior Accountant
to join their team. This role is ideal for professionals with direct financial services experience or CPAs coming out of Top 10 public accounting firms who are looking to make an impact in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment. Pay range
This range is provided by LHH. Your actual pay will be based on your skills and experience — talk with your recruiter to learn more. Key Responsibilities
Manage full-cycle accounting including journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end close. Prepare and analyze financial statements in accordance with GAAP. Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis. Ensure compliance with internal controls and regulatory requirements. Assist with audit preparation and liaise with external auditors. Collaborate with finance leadership to improve reporting and operational efficiency. Contribute to ERP system enhancements and financial process automation. Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA strongly preferred). Minimum of 2 years of accounting experience, ideally within financial services or public accounting. Experience with ERP systems and advanced Excel skills. Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting standards. Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
