Senior Structural Engineer

with a strong background in the energy sector, particularly in oil & gas (upstream, midstream, and downstream) and other industrial processing facilities. The Senior Structural Engineer will perform engineering and provide design input for concrete foundations and steel structures primarily in the industrial, oil & gas, and renewable energy markets. This role will involve tasks performed with minimal guidance while working collaboratively with the structural team and other discipline engineers. The Senior Structural Engineer will report directly to the Structural Engineering Manager. Key Responsibilities: Engineering & Design:

Perform engineering and provide design input for concrete foundations and steel structures in the industrial, oil & gas, and renewable energy markets. Project Leadership:

Independently lead the civil and structural scopes for multi-discipline projects and manage simpler, structural-focused projects, ensuring timely delivery within budget, schedule, and scope. Regulatory Coordination:

Interface with Authorities Having Jurisdiction (AHJs) to coordinate and follow up on the permitting process. Proposal Development:

Collaborate with the department manager to develop proposals, define scope, and provide accurate estimates for engineering and design deliverables. Client & Site Support:

Travel to client facilities as required for project support, including site visits, data collection, bid walks, and interface with the project team. Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree (BS+) in Civil Engineering. California Civil PE is preferred. 5 to 15 years of experience in the energy industry, including oil & gas, with a focus on upstream, midstream, and/or downstream markets, as well as other processing facilities. Familiarity with the latest U.S. codes and standards: IBC, ASCE 7, AISC, and ACI. Proficient in STAAD.Pro/Foundation and HILTI PROFIS Software is a plus. Knowledge of AutoDesk Software (AutoCAD, Advance Steel, and Revit). Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and PDF processing tools (e.g., Bluebeam or Adobe). Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working collaboratively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders. Good problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making abilities, with the ability to resolve complex technical issues. Work Environment: This is a full-time, office-based position located in

Paramount, CA . The role requires occasional travel to client sites for project support, site visits, and data collection. Reporting Structure: The Senior Structural Engineer will report directly to the Structural Engineering Manager and will collaborate closely with other engineering and project management teams to ensure the successful execution of structural projects. Compensation & Benefits: Salary range for this position is

$110,000 - $160,000
