RQ is a privately held, full-service design-build firm specializing in fast-track commercial construction for the Department of Defense, offering design, engineering, and construction under one roof. We are seeking a talented and experienced Senior Structural Engineer to join our Structural Engineering team in Jacksonville, FL.

As a Senior Structural Engineer, you will spend most of your time performing structural analysis, creating CAD models, and reviewing drawings to ensure compliance with safety and design specifications. You will also lead teams, manage budgets, and coordinate with stakeholders to maintain project schedules and quality standards, contributing to the mission and values of the company. Why Join RQ?

Perform structural analysis and review drawings to ensure compliance with safety and design specifications. Create CAD models and contribute to design and documentation for projects. Lead teams, manage budgets, and coordinate with stakeholders to maintain project schedules and quality standards. Collaborate with engineers, designers, and builders across disciplines. Qualifications

MS degree in Structural Engineering (minimum formal education). Professional Engineer (P.E.) License required. Fifteen (15) or more years of experience in structural engineering design, project delivery, or equivalent in industrial construction projects. Project management experience with the Department of Defense (DoD) is preferred. Software literacy: AutoCAD, RISA, Revit, MS Word, and MS Excel. Travel to job sites, as needed, is required.
