We are currently seeking a

Geotechnical Engineer/Associate

for our

Civil & Structural Engineering

Practice in

Atlanta, GA . In this role you will work as part of a team responsible for the inspection, analysis, and evaluation of geotechnical systems (e.g., foundations, retaining walls, excavation support systems, levees, dams, slopes, etc.) and the preparation of repair/mitigation concepts. You will be responsible for Conducting field inspections and subsurface explorations Performing geotechnical and civil engineering analyses Assisting with peer review of the design and construction of geotechnical systems Preparing conceptual designs for the repair/restoration of damaged geotechnical systems You Will Have The Following Skills And Qualifications Ph.D. in Civil Engineering specializing in Geotechnical Engineering from an accredited university or M.S. in Civil Engineering with Geotechnical focus plus 5 years\' experience Ability to obtain Professional Engineer licensure in 4 years Strong plus: degrees, experience or coursework in Geology/Geological Engineering, GIS, Groundwater/Surface Water Hydrology or Structural Engineering Strong analytical and critical thinking skills and potential to develop client relations Attention to detail, dedication to quality, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and effective leadership Ability to work independently or support multiple group projects and interact with engineers, staff, and clients Ability to gather information from diverse sources and synthesize technical conclusions for engineering, business, and industry audiences Knowledge of geotechnical modeling software, graphing software, GIS, and imaging software is a strong plus Applicants are encouraged to submit a CV with publications (include in-review or pending publications). We reward technical and business contributions with a total compensation plan aligned with performance. At the Associate and Senior Associate level, total compensation includes base salary, bi-weekly bonuses for high-intensity efforts, annual bonus, and 401(k) employer contribution of 7% of base salary. Base salary is dependent on experience and capabilities assessed during interviews. Job Location
