Overview

Project Manager-Federal General Contractor – Denver, CO. CLP Engineering (CLPE) is seeking a talented Project Manager with Federal General Contractor experience to join our team of engineering professionals. CLPE is a full-service electric utility solutions engineering firm with more than twenty years’ experience in electrical utility system ownership, upgrades, maintenance and operations through our sister company, City Light & Power. CLPE offers a wide range of power system engineering services to investor-owned, municipal, cooperative, government, industrial, and commercial customers. Responsibilities

Oversee all aspects of federal projects from initial planning through project close-out; collaborate with Sr PM and the Client to ensure deliverables align with scope and budget. Plan and define program goals using a strong understanding of the client’s mission, policies, and project delivery processes. Work with department managers, project engineers, and discipline leads to develop budgets, schedules, and construction services plans. Review design documents for conformance to company standards and compliance within scope of work. Generate and distribute reports on all project phases and financial performance. Travel to project sites to monitor activities throughout the project lifecycle. Lead project meetings (pre-award, pre-construction, progress, and close-out). Develop, enhance, and maintain effective client relations. Coordinate with Site Superintendent to develop site logistics plans and personnel assignments. Oversee procurement, cost control, and change management processes. Perform field inspections to verify quality and accuracy of construction; set up QA/QC procedures and conduct quality inspections. Uphold core safety values and collaborate with EH&S to enforce safety standards. Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, construction management, or related field preferred; relevant experience may substitute. PMP certification is a plus. Five to ten (5-10) years of experience managing medium to large federal projects. Experience coordinating time/cost/labor estimates using blueprints, specifications, and proposals. Proficiency with Microsoft Office products. Ability to delegate, strong analytical and organizational skills, and excellent verbal and written communication. Ability to maintain discretion and confidentiality. Travel

Travel between jobsites 20-30% outside CO. Other Requirements

You must be a US Citizen. Required to obtain Military Base Access Security Clearance. Valid driver’s license required. Benefits & Compensation

Comprehensive benefits package (medical, dental, life, 401k with company contribution, PTO, holidays). Salary range: $100,000–$120,000 annually, plus eligibility for Short Term Incentive Plan.
