We are seeking a Reliability Engineer to contribute to engineering, asset care, and production improvements, with opportunities to play a key leadership role in Beam Suntory's North American engineering and asset care initiatives. The role offers cross‑functional exposure across bourbon making, from distillation to barrel finishing and processing. Role

The Reliability Engineer will be a critical contributor to Beam Suntory's global growth agenda, focusing on reliability and maintenance improvements across new and existing installations. Responsibilities

Collaborate with Maintenance, Operations, and Engineering teams to ensure the reliability and maintainability of new and modified installations, adhering to lifecycle cost processes. Lead root cause analysis (RCA) and reliability-centered maintenance (RCM) to identify and resolve recurring equipment failures. Develop and implement new assets, preventive maintenance plans, job tasks, and spare parts lists to optimize asset utilization and performance. Utilize Six Sigma tools (DMAIC), Value Stream Mapping, and Process FMEA to drive continuous improvement initiatives. Assist in training staff to develop expertise in reliability engineering and maintenance practices. Collaborate with engineers and equipment manufacturers on initial design and redesigns with a reliability focus. Assist in development of SOPs and train maintenance and operators on SOPs. Demonstrate initiative in professional development through seminars, conferences, and formal training. Provide backfill coverage for management relief in Maintenance and offer technical support to production, maintenance management, and engineering personnel. Focus on safety audits and regulatory compliance. Qualifications And Experience

Bachelor's degree in Reliability Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or equivalent experience. 5 years of experience in reliability engineering, project engineering, or maintenance supervision, preferably in the food processing or chemical industry. Mechanical and electrical aptitude. Supervisor or manager experience in a skilled trade. Strong critical thinking skills with the ability to read and produce flow diagrams and P&IDs. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and familiarity with computerized maintenance management systems. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work independently and under pressure, managing multiple priorities. Willingness to work in a unionized environment and adapt to varying physical demands. Additional Qualifications And Experience

Possess a valid driver's license for driving to remote plants. Must be able to climb ladders and walk up and down stairs. Must be able to walk moderate distances up to one mile. Must be able to tolerate extreme heat and cold for short periods of time. Must have adequate vision to take field measurements, use computers, and read drawings and maps.
