Overview
Job Title: Project Manager, Engineering. Company: Constellium. Location: Washington, WV. The primary goal of this position is to successfully implement assigned projects while applying technical competence in engineering disciplines that focus on environmental, health, and safety (EHS), quality, risk management, cost, and schedule. This role provides effective project management and technical support to execute projects that impact operational efficiency, asset availability, and capital expenditure. It supports the Production units within the facility (Casting, Plate, Hot Line, & Coil). Responsibilities
Lead and/or support multiple projects and provide periodic department and plant support. Oversee project budgets, schedules, and resources, ensuring alignment with strategic goals. Develop and/or coordinate project documentation including specifications, estimates, schedules, and reviews. Provide technical guidance in analysis and resolution of complex project challenges. Establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders with clear, effective communication. Lead the development and approval of capital expenditure proposals for assigned projects. Manage and oversee contractor and vendor relationships, ensuring compliance and performance. Support construction management during field activities. Provide periodic discipline-specific guidance and support for plant maintenance and operations. Support engineering system maintenance, advancement and improvement initiatives. Provide mentorship and guidance to team members. Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related discipline from an ABET-accredited program (required). 5 years relevant experience (preferred). Demonstrated ability to lead and/or work collaboratively within a team environment (required). Willingness to learn project management, quality, and lean methodologies & techniques (required). Ability to adapt to a new industrial environment (required). Effective written and verbal communication; ability to adapt communication styles to different audiences (preferred). Effective time management with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines (required). Well organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously (required). Relevant certification (CAPM, PMP or equivalent) preferred. About Constellium
