Vessel Operations Engineer Job Summary We are seeking a Vessel Field Engineer to lead the readiness for vessel operations and act as the project representative on board the vessel.
Responsibilities
Coordinate the preparation and interfaces with all relevant departments (engineering, procurement, post-order services, assets, installation engineering).
Lead subcontracting activities such as survey & positioning, ROV services, NDT, diving, pre-commissioning, etc.
Interface with procurement and fabrication departments for delivery of items and transportation vessels preparation.
Coordinate offshore operations on board the installation vessel as project representative.
Lead HR and equipment preparation for the installation vessel project.
Manage project requirements, close-out, invoicing, and mobilization/demobilization preparations.
Compile information and share experiences for continuous improvement.
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanics, Structural, or Civil Engineering.
Minimum of 4 years experience in offshore construction activities.
Knowledge of industry codes and standards related to offshore Oil & Gas facilities design, construction, and installation.
