Overview
The Boeing Company is hiring for an F-22 Mission Systems and Fire Control Engineer (Experienced, Senior or Lead) to join the Flight Test and Evaluation team at Edwards AFB, CA. Edwards AFB is the home of the 412th Test Wing and supports a large, diverse team involved in flight and ground testing, modeling and simulation, and system integration for the U.S. Air Force. This posting supports the 411th Flight Test Squadron (F-22 CTF) and Boeing’s collaboration with the Air Force and industry partners to improve warfighting capabilities through system integration, development, test and evaluation of the F-22 Raptor. BT&E is hiring for Experienced, Senior and Lead levels of F-22 Mission Systems and Fire Control Engineers. Position Responsibilities Include
Develop and validate requirements for complex communication, sensor, electronic warfare, and other electromagnetic systems and components Develop and validate electromagnetic requirements for electrical/electronic systems, mechanical systems, interconnects and structures Develop architectures to integrate complex systems and components into higher level systems and platforms Perform trade studies, modeling, simulation and analysis to predict performance and optimize design around requirements Define and conduct critical tests to validate design performance against requirements Manage supplier and partner performance to ensure compliance with requirements Provide lifecycle support to products from manufacturing to customer use, including guidance to resolve complex issues Support project management by coordinating work statements, budgets, schedules, and reviews Generate major sections of proposals to support new business Work under minimal direction Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience)
Bachelor of Science in engineering, engineering technology, chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science 3+ years of avionics integration experience 3+ years of Military Flight Test experience Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience)
Level 4: 5+ years of related work experience or equivalent education/experience Level 5: 10+ years of related work experience or equivalent education/experience Experience on military fighter platforms (F-16, F-18, F-22, F-5, F-14, or F-15) F-22 avionics experience Additional Information
