We are looking for a detail-oriented and technically skilled Low Voltage Estimator / System Designer to join our team and help us deliver accurate project estimates and system layouts that meet client needs. Responsibilities Review project plans, specifications, and site information to develop accurate material and labor estimates. Design low-voltage systems including CCTV, access control, intrusion alarms, intercoms, and structured cabling layouts. Prepare proposals, scope of work documents, and bill of materials. Collaborate with sales, project management, and field technicians to ensure designs are practical and cost-effective. Conduct site surveys when necessary to verify existing conditions. Identify potential project risks and recommend value-engineering solutions. Stay up to date on industry trends, product lines, and code requirements. Desired Experience 3+ years of experience in low-voltage estimating and/or system design. 3+ years, CAD proficient, product-certified Strong understanding of security, surveillance, and structured cabling systems. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, floor plans, and technical documents. Excellent communication and organizational skills. Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and in a team. Preferred Skills Knowledge of BICSI, NEC, and other relevant standards. CAD drafting skills for detailed system drawings. Compensation & Benefits Competitive salary based on experience.
